Guide
If you are visiting for the first
time please read our guide so that you may understand how we conduct
our meetings, thank you.
You
are not here by chance; you are here because the Lord has brought you
Meeting, Sunday
09.30 AM
(Many come early to have a cuppa
before the Meeting)
You Are WELCOME
If you are here for the first time and
have not made your-self known to us we would like to ask you to be
quiet (singing excluded) and not participate in the bread and wine.
After the meeting, please give us a chance to meet and talk with you
so we can get to know you and hear your testimony. The
Lord is the Head of His Church and we are His Body, He presides over
our meetings and leads us by His Holy Spirit.
The meeting will proceed in a similar
fashion as follows -
-
Announcements and Introduction of
Visitors, reading of letters of commendations (if any).
-
Singing and sharing (approx ½ hour). If the Lord
has done something for you during the week or you have heard of
something worth sharing we encourage you to do so.
-
Worship Service around 10
am
We
believe women should be covered and should be silent in the
worship service
(1 Corinthians Ch.1:1-16 and Ch.14:34-35)
-
There
is no set rule to the worship service; it is lead by the Holy
Spirit and never by one man alone. The brothers will share from
the scriptures, Break Bread, share the ministry.
-
The
meeting concludes around 11 AM, some go home straight away while
others stay and have a talk. Please stay and somebody will come
and talk to you for a while
-
Sometimes
we have a Fellowship Lunch either at the Hall or in a Park nearby.
If you are not prepared come along anyway and share our meal.
-
We
pray that lives will be changed, that souls get saved and all
peoples will hear the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Please come back. We give thanks to Him for all and to you for
coming, may He bless you.
If you have any
questions about this guide or anything else feel free to ask us before
or after the meeting.
